We alert you today to a young woman who recently had a stroke and needs our help. She unexpectedly suffered a stroke on October 1st that landed her in the hospital. A few weeks later, while in a rehab facility learning to walk and talk again, her husband of 9 years informed her that he was filing for divorce and leaving her and their two children, ages 4 and 2. She’s worked hard and has been cleared by her doctors to return to work, which she did last week. However, her husband has not supported her or the children, leaving her in a financial bind. She currently owes December and January rent. We believe she will be stable going forward if she receives our financial support. We want to help her pay her rent and late fees totaling $1,800.
