We alert you today to a couple that needs a little help after they have taken three children into their home, keeping them out of the foster care system. The parents of four girls (22,16,9,3) recently learned that their nieces (11,7,3) were being taken from their mother and would enter the foster care system if family members did not step up and care for them. The couple was the children’s only viable option; they have taken in the children and are caring for them. The father and mother are hard workers but did not have time to plan for this situation. The transition has been costly and required some time off work. They are $1,300 behind on their rent, and we want to help them remain current. We are confident that they will be able to sustain themselves going forward.
