Need 24.38 – Family In Need After Husband Suffers Compound Fracture

We alert you today to a family in need after the husband suffered a compound fracture in the upper section of his ankle and tibia. The young husband is active in his community and serves at his local church and with a local prison ministry. On May 17th, he was helping his widowed aunt with some home repairs when he fell from a ladder and broke his ankle and leg. Doctors performed surgery later that week, and he will undergo another surgery in the coming week.

He has worked at a local tire shop for seven years to provide for his family. However, his employer does not offer any employee benefits, and he will be unable to work for the next eight weeks. His wife also works, but her income is much smaller than his and typically covers food, gas, and other living expenses. They need help getting through the next two months until he can return to work. Their monthly bills are minimal, including their mortgage, utilities, and trash service, and total $2,400. We want to help them with two months of their monthly bills. The total need is $4,800.
