Need 24.40 – Man Spends 14 Days In ICU

We alert you today to a man who suffered a Type B aortic direction on May 14th. Doctors performed emergency surgery, placing a ten-inch stent in his in his chest. He then spent the next 14 days recovering in the ICU. He is a legal immigrant from Cuba, where he worked as a computer engineer. He has been working and waiting on his professional accreditation to begin work in the U.S. in his field. While waiting, he supported himself by working on an assembly line through a temp agency. He has no employee benefits, and when he was unable to work, he had no source of income. He is out of the hospital, and the temp agency has taken him back on the assembly line. Adding to the good news is that his paperwork has come through, and he is beginning his job search in his field. Things are looking up for his health and his professional transition to the U.S. He needs $2,200 to cover his bills that he is unable to pay due to his health event. We are very confident that he will recover if we can help him dig out of this financial hole.
