We alert you today to a single mother and her son who were the victims of domestic violence a few months ago. The husband/father was incarcerated for the incident, and she and her son have moved into a new apartment that fits her budget as a public school teacher. Soon after the move, she underwent unexpected thyroid surgery, and she was financially unprepared as she was still recovering from the move. She is $650 short on her rent, and we want to help her bridge this gap. We are confident she can care for herself and her son after this support.
