We alert you today of a single mom unwilling to give up on pursuing the best care for her daughter. Her daughter is a bright, amazing, tenacious 10-year-old girl born with some deformities in her foot and leg. As her little girl grew, the doctors determined that she would need to wear a brace on her leg at night to correct the issues. However, the night brace has not been enough to combat the deformities, and she will now need to wear a day brace, too. Without the day brace, she could incur even more drastic issues as an adult. Insurance has not covered all the physical therapy and physician visits required lately, so her mother’s debt rose to cover these expenses. Unfortunately, because her insurance deductible has not yet been met, the mother is forced to pay for the brace out-of-pocket and does not have the means to do so. Since they will not fit her daughter for the brace until the fee is paid, we want to provide her with the needed brace. The cost to meet this need is $1390.
