We alert you today to a 42-year-old woman with cerebral palsy in need. She has some Social Security disability benefits and a strong work history of providing for herself by working at a local grocery store. She spent most of her adult life living with her older sister, who unexpectedly passed away last year. She made the needed living adjustments by moving apartments and taking on a new roommate. However, just after this transition, she had to undergo gallbladder surgery that took her out of work for four weeks. She is $410 behind on her power bill, and her service is scheduled to be cut off today. She also needs help with her $1,110 rent this month as she returns to work next week. We want to help her with her power bill and her rent.
