Today, we alert you of a need for not one person or family but many. Hurricane Helene devastated our neighbors in North Carolina, South and East Georgia, and Tennessee; hundreds of thousands are still without power or water. Over 150 roads are closed, with some not scheduled for reopening for a year because of the extreme damage. If you have seen pictures of the flooding or of homes that have been destroyed, I am sure, like me, you were shocked. We want to be part of the solution and rebuilding. We want to show compassion for those who may feel hopeless. We want to invite you to join us.

We aim to raise $10,000 to purchase needed supplies for the residents and those feeding and caring for those without a home. We connected with a group operating out of North Georgia that has been filling box trucks and is permitted to drive them to the areas for distribution. Over the next two days, we would like to see how close we can get to this $10,000 goal. Remember, every dollar donated, less banking fees, will go directly to purchase needed supplies. Also, your donation is tax-deductible, and you will receive a giving statement at year-end.
