Today, we alert you to an incredible woman doing all she can to hold her family together. She and her husband work full-time for the school system and have a daughter. Their lives were very stable until August, when she received a call that her brother was at the hospital with heart problems. Overnight, she became his power of attorney, making all decisions regarding his health and having to be at the hospital anytime he was under anesthesia. She also became the guardian of his twin girls, as he is a single father. Because of his condition, he has spent most of his time in the hospital since that first visit. She has missed work without pay, having to spend many days and hours at the hospital. She has also had to drive or pay someone to drive the nieces to their school daily since they live in a different county. She has done a remarkable job and is full of love, hope, and perseverance, but she has exhausted funds with the loss of income and increased expenses. We want to give her $1800 to catch up on their bills.
