We alert you today of a single mom who has made huge strides for her family after the husband/father abandoned her and their children. She was able to save and purchase a home for her family. She has worked diligently while also homeschooling her daughter. Recently, she had car trouble, and at the same time, the water heater went out. While a plumber was giving an estimate for the water heater, black mold was discovered on the wall behind the water heater. A mold remediation company was brought in and found black mold within 2 of the walls, which will now have to be removed in order to kill and remediate the mold situation. Of course this is devastating news for her after coming so far. She has not been able to save enough in the short time she has had to start over as a single mom, so paying to have this work done and paying to live somewhere else while the house is being remediated is not something she can handle on her own. Her church family is gathering a team to help rebuild the walls and replace the water heater once the mold has been removed. We want to serve her by providing $4600 to pay for the mold remediation and hotel while the repairs are being done.
