We alert you today to a very hardworking, single woman who has been caring for her niece and nephew (6, 8) for the past four years after her sister passed away. She has a strong work history and has been in the same position as an account manager for the past six years with her company. In January, her six-year-old niece, who has severe asthma, was hospitalized for two months. As her guardian, she needed to be at the hospital most of the time for those two months and missed a significant amount of time from work. Her employer understands, but her income was significantly reduced. She is a three-time cancer survivor and lacked the savings needed to make it through the two-month health struggle with her niece. She has done her best to catch up over the past few months, but finds herself $900 behind on her $1,700 per month rent. We want to help her get caught up for this month and feel she can sustain herself going forward.
