We alert you today to a hard-working single woman who spent November of last year until March of this year, caring for her mother in her last days. Her mother became critically ill in November in her hometown, which was a four-hour car ride away. She has a strong track record of supporting herself working for a company she has been with for the past ten years; however, because she was the medical proxy for her mother, she was forced to miss work frequently during that period, as she was in intensive care. Sadly, her mother passed away in early March. The time missed from work, combined with the added travel expenses, has created a financial hole that she fears she will be unable to dig out of in time to avoid an eviction. We want to help her with $1,150 to get her current with her rent. We are confident she will be able to sustain herself going forward.
