We alert you today to a family in need after the father was shot in the head during a road rage incident. He spent almost a whole month in the ICU and is now continuing to recover at home. He has a 1-year-old daughter and lives with her and the mother of their child. We have talked with both parents about the importance of a long-term plan, as his recovery timeline is unclear. They expressed a commitment to working out a plan, but they need a little time. They are $650 short on their June rent and could be facing eviction soon. We want to help them buy some time by providing them with the portion of their rent that they are short.
