We are working to help a single father who was laid off, along with 22 other co-workers, three weeks ago. He was doing his best and working hard, but still living paycheck to paycheck. He had recently been tackling some longstanding consumer debt when he was laid off unexpectedly. This left him in a very vulnerable situation as he did not have any cash saved. He had worked hard to secure employment and received an employment offer yesterday evening. He needs a financial bridge to get him to his first paycheck in a few weeks. We want to help with $800 to cover his utilities, car insurance, groceries, and fuel, and feel he will be sustainable going forward.
