We are workign to help a 58-year-old single mother who is recovering from her second surgery to remove thyroid cancer. She has a steady work history, working in a warehouse for hourly pay. Her 17-year-old son also works part-time, outside of school. She initially underwent surgery in April after her thyroid cancer diagnosis and then had a second surgery in May. Doctors feel like they have gotten rid of the cancer with the second surgery. She is now finishing up her recovery period and will return to work soon. She is in need of $1,600 to catch up with her rent, and we want to help her get her rent current as she recovers from this health event.
