We are working today to help a hard-working single mother of two (14,10) who is recovering from complications following surgery. She works in healthcare for an assisted living home. In early June, she underwent hernia surgery. She had planned well for the time off, but in the middle of June, she was unexpectedly hospitalized for nine days due to an infection. She is now recovered and back at work, but is $950 behind on her rent. We want to help her through this by assisting her in catching up on her rent and avoiding eviction.
