We alert you today to a very hard-working single mother (12,5) who needs a financial bridge. She lost her mother, her last remaining immediate, in May of 2024. She had been staying in the area where her mother lived to care for her, but after her mother passed away, she decided to move to a different state to create a better life for her two children. She made the move in late May of last year and began working immediately, providing for herself and the children ever since. The children are thriving in their new environment. She was laid off in July and it took her four weeks to secure a new position. She is back at work now, but her landlord is not making any concessions for her and, in my opinion, is going out of their way to make things as difficult as possible for her. She has a strong track record of providing for herself and her children and paying her rent on time. She needs $1,300 to catch up on her rent and the exorbitant late fees her landlord has heaped on. We are confident that she will be able to sustain herself going forward after this support.
