We alert you today to a mother of two (11,12) who was physically abused and then abandoned by her husband. She works full-time as a restaurant manager and was forced to move apartments due to the separation; she is struggling to make ends meet financially. She was able to pay all of the moving expenses, but is now struggling to make her first month’s rent payment. She has $900 to put towards her rent, but is still $1,600 short. We want to help her pay her rent this month, as we are confident that she can sustain herself and her children in the future.
