We are working today to help a widow and her four children (10, 3, 1, 4 months) after losing their husband/father in an auto accident last month. The mother is working full-time to try to hold things together, but she is behind on her rent after taking time off work with her newborn and then immediately attending to the final arrangements of her husband. The family is in danger of becoming homeless, and she needs $1,500 to catch up on her rent and stabilize her housing. We want to help her bring her rent current and prevent their eviction.
