Need 25.81 – 32-Year-Old Single Mother In Severe Auto Accident
We are working today to help a single mother of a two-year-old son get across the finish line, recovering from a major auto accident. On June 27th, she and her son were driving on a major interstate when her car hydroplaned and collided head-on with a concrete bridge abutment. Thankfully, her son was not injured. However, she suffered a compound fracture of her tibia and fibula. She required emergency surgery and a lengthy hospital stay followed by a four-month recovery period before she could return to work. We have been tracking with her since the accident, and some family and friends have been able to keep them afloat for the past few months. Financial support has dwindled to almost nothing at this point as her friends and small family have done all they can. She is starting back to work next month and needs one more month of support to get across the finish line. We want to provide her with $3,500 to get her through this final month as she gets back on her feet.
