We alert you today to a teacher who is recovering from surgery. She has worked at the same school as a class support teacher for special needs children for the past 5 years. During that time, she returned to school and will graduate from her program later this month. This is an exciting accomplishment for her as she will receive a promotion and a significant raise immediately. Unfortunately, she is in serious financial need after she had complications with what she believed would be a relatively minor surgical procedure. As a result, she has missed a significant amount of work and is at risk of losing her car and apartment. She has recovered now and is back to work and looking forward to her promotion. We are confident that she will be able to sustain herself going forward, but she needs $2,440 to stabilize her housing and keep her transportation. We want to help her get through this trying time.
