Need 25.91 – Undiagnosed Fungal Lung Infection
We alert you today to a couple in need after a very trying year. They have been married for 22 years and have two adult children who are out of the home and doing well. The wife works for a major grocery store chain, and the husband works in the trades. They have a strong work history and a track record of providing for themselves and their children. In April, the wife became ill. Doctors diagnosed her with a viral infection. She did recover some and returned to work, but the symptoms soon returned. This back and forth with the physicians continued for several months, and all the while she was forced to miss work, causing them to rely on only the husband’s income. Thankfully, doctors correctly diagnosed her after a few months with a fungal lung infection, and she was placed on a four-month treatment plan. Then, in October, an MRI showed a mass in her lung. Doctors are performing tests, and we are praying for the best.
Adding to the stress, the company her husband works for closed their doors last month. He is very skilled and was hired almost immediately by another company. However, he experienced a gap in his income, and they were financially unprepared. They need $2,000 to cover their monthly bills as he transitions to his new position. We want to help stabilize them financially and are confident they can make ends meet going forward.
