We are working today with a local church partner that has been ministering to Native American reservations in their area for many years. As you may or may not know, the conditions on these reservations can be poor. High unemployment rates, coupled with higher-than-average substance abuse, create many needs in these communities. However, the communities are tight-knit and rely on one another daily.

We have learned that a working single mom who is connected to her neighbors and respected in the community needs a washer and dryer. She has sought to find a used one that is reasonably priced, as she cannot afford a new set. However, she has had no luck finding one she can also arrange to be delivered and installed. She has allowed others to use her washer and dryer, and it was a means of service for her. We want to bless her and, in turn, her neighbors and community with a new set. A new washer and dryer set, including delivery and installation, as well as hauling off her old set, will cost $1,400. We want to support the local church’s work in the community and bless this hardworking and caring woman with a new washer and dryer.
