We are alerting you today to a hardworking single mother of one (11) working in the public service and community health fields. She is an active member and has faithfully served in her local church for many years. During the extreme cold days in February, her heating unexpectedly started blowing cold air intermittently, leaving her and her daughter to wake up to a freezing house. She was quoted $2,300 to replace the heating components that would fix the problem, an amount she cannot afford. However, she has a portion ($700) and needs $1,600 more to repair the HVAC unit. We talked to her about credit options, and she does not have access to any other solution. We would like to help this mom cover the cost of repairing the HVAC system so she and her child stay warm.
