We are working to help a man today who was unexpectedly laid off the week before Christmas. As you can imagine, the timing, being during the holidays and the end of the year, made it difficult for him to secure new employment. He did not take unemplyment benefits so that he could remain on his employer’s health insurance plan. He has been diligent in his job search and has been able to make ends meet the past few months with his savings. The good news is that he found employment and is back to work. However, he is $1,300 short on his rent and in danger of losing his housing after navigating this far through this trial. We would like to help him save his apartment.
