Need 26.20 – Widow Loses Husband To Alzheimer’s Disease
We alert you today to a woman in need after losing her husband to Alzheimer’s disease. Although he was relatively young, in his early sixties, her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s two years ago and given two years to live by doctors. Sadly, he passed away three weeks ago. He was unable to work for the past two years, and she could only do odd jobs that did not take away her ability to care for her husband daily. Over the past two years, they have used all of their savings and have been living paycheck to paycheck. She is now faced with a new challenge of supporting herself while grieving the loss of her husband. She is working to secure full-time employment and build her new life as a widow. She is responsible for her $1,500 monthly rent, plus utilities and other monthly living expenses. She is deeply connected to her local church and has local spiritual support. We want to help her with this transition by providing 3 months of financial support, and we feel like $8,000 will help her make this transition.
