We alert you today to a young professional who needs a hand up. She graduated last year with her Master’s Degree and was immediately hired for a position that required her to move to a new state. She made all the right moves, took the leap, and worked diligently in her new role in accounting. A few months in, they asked her to change roles. The new role was unfamiliar, and she could feel herself falling behind. Then, after ten months of working with the company, they let her go with three weeks’ severance in February. When she was laid off, she continued to make good moves. Lowering expenses and turning finding a new job into her full-time job while doing what she could on the side to earn some money. She is close to securing a new position and is excited to return to work but needs some help this month. Her rent is $1,795 per month.
