We alert you this morning of a single woman battling depression. However, before we jump into the details of this very important Need Alert, I want to take a second to let you know of an exciting new enhancement we are launching along with the first Need Alert of 2016.
Currently when you receive a Need Alert from us you are presented with three options. We ask you to pray, share and give. The goal has always been to mobilize Christians into prayer for those in need, encourage them to advocate for those in need through sharing the need with others, and giving out of their abundance. With the first Need Alert of 2016 you will be presented with one more opportunity. The new option will be to learn. Each new Need Alert will have a very concise lesson with “street level” practicality. Topics will be wide ranging and the creators of the lessons will be as varied as the Needs Alerts themselves. Over the next 3 months we will be executing this new initiative and we are asking for your prayers as we implement what we believe is a vital new option for you. Now, on to the need alert…
We are working closely with a woman that is in a serious battle with depression. She works 40 hours per week and has been in prayer and on medication seeking relief from her depression. She has had serious reactions to her medications and is working with doctors to get them right. We have an area expert in the field of social work that is directly connected with her. Several months ago she was hospitalized due to her illness. This caused her to miss large amounts of work. As a result, she has fallen behind on her monthly bills and, although she is trying very hard, she just can not get caught up. She is now facing eviction because she is one month behind on her rent.
We would like to help her get caught up on her rent.
Need
One Month’s Rent = $800
Total Need = $800
How To Help
1.) Take a second and pray for this Need Alert and every Deeder that is receiving it.
*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.
All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
