Good Monday Morning!

We are excited to alert you of this need and give the opportunity to participate in this effort to help a widow in need.

Lynn and David Walker have been core members of on of our local church partners for years. Lynn voluntarily led the women’s ministry, pouring into countless and helping them connect with Jesus. David, along with Lynn, served on the prayer team and helped in several other areas.

Several years ago, David was diagnosed with cancer. Ha and Lynn fought the cancer together with medical treatment and prayer. David passes away last year. Anyone who has ever been through something like that knows the physical, emotional, and financial toll cancer takes on the people it affects. A few months after David passed away, Lynn was diagnosed with cancer. As you can imagine, that news was devastating.

Lynn is unbelievable strong. She has endured so much and she is a constant blessing to her family and friends. We alert you today because right now she really needs some help.

Lynn and David used all of the financial resources they had to fight David’s cancer. Now, Lynn has to go through treatment herself and that comes with even more expense. Lynn will also not be able to work while going through her treatment. Her sole source of income will be eliminated. Lynn needs The Church.

Her home church is holding a fundraiser on Friday the 29th. The fundraiser will be an art event. People will pay to have a seat at the event and paint as a class with art instructors. Each participant will pay $35 to attend the event and all proceeds will go directly to Lynn’s care fund.

The second aspect of the fundraiser for Lynn is this Need Alert. We will be collecting donations thought our platform until Friday morning at 10am. At that point we will close the Need and transfer funds to our partner church. They will present her with the total amount raised at the event on Friday night.

We are passing the digital plate for Lynn. The Need will be open until this Friday, January, 29th at 10am.
