Story

Good Morning.

We are in the process of working with a family that is recovering form the devastating loss of their father. On Memorial Day 2012 the father jumped to his death from a bridge over a major interstate. He had battled with depression for many years and after his death the mother began peeling the layers off of hidden financial problems one by one.

She has been pursed by creditors relentlessly for debts she could not pay. She has made great progress in some areas, but is still dealing with 2 lawsuits from creditors she can not seem to satisfy with he proof of the fathers death.

Through working with her through her finances we have determined she needs $1,400 to catch up her bills and get current with her immediate financial responsibilities. This will relive a great deal of stress. She has steady employment and her monthly financial obligations are manageable. She just can not seem to get caught up from this tragedy 24 months ago. We want to give her a hand up.

Through this process we have also discovered that she has not really delt with this death. She has kept the children (6, 13, 15, 19) in counseling, but she has neglected her own welfare. She admitted to battling with depression recently and has asked for help in this area too.

Need

She needs to be caught up on various accounts – $1,400

She also needs counseling. We are working with the church partner in this area but if you have a possible solution, please email rodney@oneneed.org

How To Help

1.) Take a second and pray for this Need Alert and every Deeder that is receiving it.

2.) Make donation below.

*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.

All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
