Greetings again..!  We have one other need to alert you of today.

We have been connected with a single Mom who is in need of assistance with her new home and a used car she recently purchased.

Here is her story:

Individual recently separated from her husband and moved herself and two daughters into a new home in Austell, GA.  It is an old house and needs some immediate care.  An exterminator who came to treat the house for insects said that it home has a fungus in the structure that is causing the wood to splinter and will eventually weaken the foundation of the house (built in 1952).  He said he would have to bore holes in the boards and treat it and that they would need to put an additional layer of insulation to protect it from spreading. The cost quoted is $650.

She also recently bought a used Honda Odyssey for her family from an individual.  The transmission in the vehicle is failing and in need of rebuilding.  This is their only vehicle and their estimated cost is somewhere around $2000.

She is a mother of 2, working in a law office making less than $40,000 a year with no benefits. Both items are significant and neither are in her budget.
