74 Year Old Widow In Need Of Car Repairs: Need 15.3 = Met

STATUS = Met!!! – 7 Deeders responded and donated $400.00 – These Deeders were from 6 different churches and 3 different states. This resource will now be transferred to the partner church so that they can use it in ministry to the woman in need.

Story

We alert you today of a 74 year old widow in need of some car repairs. She has been a One Need Deeder for some time and belongs to a small church that is connected to one of our newest church partners through a planting network. She has volunteered in the past at jail ministries and drug rehab facilities. Currently, God has her serving in a leadership capacity at a homeless shelter for pregnant woman. When we spoke with her pastor his comment was, “If any of us ever really deserve help, she would be on the top of the list.” He also expressed that if his church had any money they would help her.

Need

She drives a 14 year old car. Through her church she has been connected to an auto repair ministry that is providing the labor at no cost. She just needs money for the parts. She told us that normally she would be able to just save the money for unexpected repairs, but her emissions is due and the car must be fixed to pass emissions. We need to raise $400 for the parts.
