Story

This need is for a very sick 50 year old man.  He has been getting treatment for several health issues by The Good Samaritan Health Center.  As always, this need was uncovered by one of our church partners.  This local church is deeply involved with the health clinic that serves the most needy in their community.  Through this work they discovered this need.

Need

It was discovered during the treatment of other health issues that this man has Syphilis.  The medical professionals tell us that they are not exactly sure how long he has had it but it has been a while. It has spread to his eyes and caused him to lose his sight and eventually will result in death.  The Health Center has placed a pic line in him and he is ready to receive life saving antibiotics. However, the antibiotics he so desperately needs are $90 per day and he needs 14 day’s worth.  We would like to provide the resource for this church to meet this man where he is and provide him with life saving medicine. Without this medicine he will eventually die from this infection.

The total amount we need to raise to meet this need is $1,260.  It is a lot of money, but not too big for God.  If everyone will pray and give as they can he will have the medicine by the end of the week!
