Highland River Health Needs Household Items – (Need #14.4)

Highland River Health treats people with mental health and substance abuse diagnosis’. It is their mission and commitment to provide quality care and to enhance the lives of every member of their, 11 county, North Georgia community.

As part of their service, Highland River Health provides housing for those in need. As you can imagine funds for these types of programs are very tight and the organization has called on us to help.

Their Residential Recovery program, in Rome Georgia, is in desperate need of slightly used household items to fill apartments in order to create homes for the people they serve.

This is great opportunity to serve. If you have been a Deeder and receiving these Need Alerts for a while but have never acted, maybe this is a good one to start with!  It is simple and safe!

The following is a list of items that would be greatly appreciated:

• Twin bed frames or head boards
• Dinette sets, tables or chairs
• sofa, love seat, chairs
• chest or dresser, lamps
• sofa table, end table
• TV Stand, TV’s (older models are perfectly fine)
• coffee maker, toaster, microwave

If you have an item or items that you would like to donate, please email rodney@oneneed.org and he will work with you to meet this need.

Hello Guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I have a “WINDFALL” of emails and phone calls coming in for donations from people near and far!!!! I am overwhelmed in disbelief of the number of people willing to donate items to the program. Some are giving things they no longer use and that is in storage and others are requesting list of things so they can go and purchase items. Thank you so very much, this truly has been a blessing for my program and the consumers that will be moving into the apartments. Special shout out to my “BOSS MAN” (Jason B) whom gave the idea of One Need.  ONCE AGAIN….THANKS!!
