Good Monday Morning!

Ok, so the kids are almost half way through their summer break in most parts of the country. We hope every single one of them is having a great break and enjoying every minute of their free time.

One of our local church partners is already looking toward their needs when school begins. Last year this local church reached out to help the most disadvantaged elementery school in their area. They organized an effort to help offset the expense these parents and teachers incur every fall by collecting school supplies at church each Sunday. When the effort was over, they were able to make huge dent in the amount of supplies that the student’s parents and school faculty needed to buy. The stories of the conversations this started among the student’s parents and the faculty were incredibly encouraging and fruitful. There was even an article written in the local paper about the Christian’s gesture. This was a really creative, productive, and proactive outreach effort.

This year this same small local church is attempting something pretty big. They are committing to buy all of the school supplies for this entire school! And we want you to have the opportunity to be involved.

In order to achieve this goal they need to purchase the following:

1200 – Glue Sticks
650 – Large Erasers
650 – Rulers
650 – Glue Bottles
650 – Pencil Cases
650 – Packs of Crayons
120 – Blunt -Tip Scissors

Need

We are passing the digital plate so to speak. We will leave this Need open for 24 hours. We do not have a set goal for this Need. We just want you to have the opportunity to be involved with this awesome Kingdom effort! The total amount needed to complete the entire project is $2,800. We are certainly not looking to raise the entire amount, but wanted you to know the numbers. We will be constantly updating the status of this need on the DEED FEED for the next 24 hours.
