We alert you today to a single mother who is recovering from surgery to repair her broken leg. She woke in the middle of the night, and when she got out of bed, she tripped and broke her tibia and fibula just below the knee. She required surgery to repair her injury, where doctors placed a rod in her leg from her knee to her foot. She earns her living caring for children and cannot work for the next few months as she recovers. She is talking with her extended family members to determine how to move forward over the next several months but needs help with her rent and a few utilities to buy her some time to develop a plan. We want to help her this month with rent and utility support totaling $2,500.
