Need 23.100 – Roof For Native American Reservation Community Center

We alert you today to the opportunity to majorly impact a small Native American community. One of our local church partners in Montana has an extensive Native American outreach ministry and is deeply entrenched in the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. Although they have ongoing activities throughout the reservation, a significant ministry hub is the John Horse Capture Center, located in a small town on the reservation. It is a place that helps distribute food and much-needed supplies to local families in need. The space is also used for youth activities, counseling, and family support. Our local church partner also uses it monthly to host Native American family church services and events, such as Vacation Bible School, Christmas Outreach, food distribution, etc. Unfortunately, the roof of the community center is starting to cave in. Recently, a foot of snow fell in the area, and when the snow melted, water leaked into the building; workers there had to take thirty-two 20-gallon trash cans of water out of the building due to the leak.

The Native American pastor from our local church partner there has assembled a team of workers that includes roofing experts and wants to bless this community by repairing the community center’s roof. They are ready to get to work but need help buying the materials. We estimate that the materials will cost $3,500. We want to provide them with the required materials.
