We alert you today to a 43-year-old widow in need of help with her rent. She and her husband were high school sweethearts, and she lost him in an auto accident in 2020. She has worked in the healthcare field for several years as a CNA and, four months ago, began an 11-month nursing program to become an LPN. She has taken out loans for school, and her class schedule led her to work part-time. The census at her company dropped, and because she is part-time, her hours were the first to be reduced, putting her at risk of losing her housing. She has stopped attending nursing school until September to work more and needs $1,800 to avoid eviction. We want to help her along as she continues to pursue her goal of becoming a nurse.
