We alert you today to a single grandmother who is struggling financially and needs a new washing machine. She lost her son in a motorcycle accident, and her daughter a few years later due to complications from a routine surgery. She has cared for her autistic grandson (17) since he was two years old. Sadly, she recently also lost a grandson in an accident. She is doing her best to make ends meet, working part-time and receiving Social Security.
