oday, we talked with, prayed with, and reminisced with a hardworking man who is highly regarded in the community. His father left him his truck when he passed away, and the man has been driving it for the past decade. It broke down this past week while driving with his youngest son, and the family had to decide whether to repair it or sell it. The mechanic reduced the cost of the repairs by nearly $1000 because of his relationship with the man and knowing how much the truck means to him. The family does have savings for emergencies, and another family member contributed as well to offset the cost. They will still need an additional $1800 to cover the repair cost.
