Good Afternoon.

We alert you today of a 60 year old woman in serious need. She currently is experiencing heart failure with only 15% of her heart functioning. She is wearing a defibrillator vest daily and also taking medication to strengthen her heart for surgery.

Her daughter submitted this need, on her behalf, through our local church partner. Working through this need is as much of an opportunity for us to minister to the daughter as it is her mother/patient.

They are working with the hospital to get SSI and/or Medicaid. However, it is taking an unusually long time to get it all handled. The hospital is letting the bills mount until they can secure government assistance.

She is in immediate need of an Echocardiogram so that the doctors can determine the next steps. This is where we can help. The clinic that runs the test demands payment at time of service and she simply does not have the money. What is terrifying to the mother and daughter is that without the test the doctors can not move forward.

We would like to help them with the Echocardiogram.
