Story

Good Monday Morning!

We hope your weekend was awesome and you are off to a great start this week.

We alert you today of a single mother of four boys that needs a little help. The boys are 9, 8, and twins that 5 years old. Her husband, and the father of theses four boys, left her when she was still pregnant with the 5 year old twins. He has never been seen or heard from again and pays no child support.

From the time he left she has supported herself and the boys by working full-time. She is able to make things work every month and her budget is sustainable except for her child care issues.

She receives assistance from the state for child care, but the weekly cost is still $130 per week out of her pocket. This is totally wrecking her budget. Once school starts in August, she can place them in the After School Program and the state assistance will cover the entire amount. This will fix her ongoing budget issues caused by child care!

However, because she is depending on the state assistance she can not change the child care arrangement and leave a debt with the prior caregiver…we would not want her to anyway. She has run up a $850 debt over the summer and by the end of the summer the debt will be $1200. She has no way to pay the debt and as a result will be stuck in this child care arrangement with the debt only getting larger.

We would like to help her pay off this debt and then see her use the After School Program for child care. This will allow her to continue to work full-time and the child care issue will be resolved.

Need

Child Care Debt = $1,200

Total Need = $1,200

How To Help

1.) Take a second and pray for this Need Alert and every Deeder that is receiving it.

2.) Make donation below.

*As always 100% of your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your money, less the PayPal fees, will be applied to this specific need. You should also know that the relief will be delivered by the local church partner, not One Need.

All Need Alerts are prayed over and fully reviewed before you receive them. When you see a Need Alert from One Need we want you to have confidence that we are providing relief to a person with a real need. Furthermore, you should know that every need originates with a local church partner. Less than 5% of the Needs we work with become Need Alerts. You can feel confident that when you receive a Need Alert, like this one, that we have dug in and worked with the local church partner and the person in need. We know these people, their backgrounds, and have others that confirm these needs.
