We alert you today to a single mother of three girls in need of help to prevent eviction. The mother supports herself and her children as a bus driver for her local county school system. She receives no child support and lives on a very tight budget. Last month, she was caught in flood waters which damaged her car. The repairs totaled almost $7,000. She relied on the vehicle for her employment, and because of how the car was financed, she was forced to repair the vehicle.

With a little help from her father and a flexible repayment arrangement with her mechanic, she has been able to make the needed repairs. But the additional expenses related to the repair have left her short on her rent. She needs $1,740 to prevent eviction. The good news is that she recently got a raise, and we are hopeful that she will be able to weather this financial storm.
