We close out the week today by helping a 50-year-old single mother of three. She works a full-time job during the week and cleans houses on the weekends to make ends meet. Last month she sustained a back injury. She continued working her full-time job, but the injury slowed her to the point that she could clean only one house per weekend. She is recovering now, and we are confident she will be self-sustaining in the future. She needs $750 in rent support to avoid eviction, and we would like to provide her with $400 for groceries for her and her children.
