Story

We alert you today of a single mother that is recently divorced. Her ex-husband severely abused her. She tried to make the marriage work but was unable to due to the abuse. She works full time as a hairdresser and recently the shop has changed ownership. As a result, there have been some changes to her pay schedule. She was already week to week and barely making ends meet, and this interruption has spiraled her budget out of control. She is still recovering emotionally, and we would like to give her a hand up financially. She is overdrawn on her bank account by $200. Her water and power are due to be turned off before Thanksgiving. We would like to help her recover her budget and get some food in her house this week.
