Homeless 19 year old girl needs help – Need 14.25

Good Morning.  We hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend.  We alert you this morning of a homeless 19 year old girl.  The need was submitted by one of our partner ministries, Set Captives Free.

This young girl has had a hard life to say the least and it is our goal to come along side her, practically help her and connect her with a local church body to continue the healing.

At age 14 she was raped.  The rape resulted in a pregnancy.  She attempted to keep the child for 2 years before giving up custody.  Shortly after giving up custody of her 2 year old she attempted to take her own life.  As a result, she was submitted into a mental facility.  Upon her release she again became pregnant, but lost the child that was born 4 month premature.  She remained with this child’s father for 3 years.  The relationship was abusive, but she told us that she felt obligated to stay because he “stuck with her” during “her” pregnancy.

She finally gained the courage to leave him a few months ago thinking she would have the ability to stay with family.  Only that did not work out the way she expected.  Her sister overdosed six weeks ago and her brother moved to New York.

With no job and homeless Set Captives Free began to work with her and submitted her need to us.

She found a job at Waffle House and is expecting her paycheck to be $200 per week.  Currently she is living and sleeping in a friends truck.

We would like to get her out of the truck and into a place of her own.  She will be able to pay for it after we get her in.  She just needs a little help getting moved in.

So here is the Need listed:

• Prayer – Please take a second and pray over this young girl and the Deeders that are getting this Need.
• A Place – We are looking for a place for her as it is in Canton, GA, our HQ.  However, if you know of somewhere let us know.
• Money – We need to raise some money for her deposit. This is really important to helping her.  Remember 100% of all donations are tax deductible and 100% of the money goes to the specific need.  Please CLICK HERE if you would like to donate.
