Family Rescuing 6 year old triplet boys – Canton, Georgia – Need 14.30

Good Afternoon and Happy Wednesday!

We were made aware of this need today by a church partner.  The family attends this church and the church does not have the resources to help them.

A family is rescuing 6 year old triplets from a drug fueled and neglectful mother.

D.F.C.S. has removed the children from the mother’s custody and asked the aunt if she would take custody.

The aunt of the drug addicted mother submitted this need because her and her husband need a little help adjusting to taking custody of these 3 boys.  The husband works full time and his wages only cover enough to get them (his wife and 4 year old son) by.  Not enough to handle the transition costs of taking in extra children.

Clearly what this man’s family is doing is biblical.  We just want to give them a helping hand as they are doing the heavy lifting.

– A list of needed items –

  • Clothes for the boys – (they showed up with only what they were wearing)
    • Paints/Shorts – Size 6
    • Tops – Size 5/6
    • Shoes – Size 1
  • FOOD – They will be getting the boy’s food stamps but only after a court hearing in a few weeks.
  • 2 Sets of Bunk Beds – DFCS will allow them to sleep 2 to a room but they each need their own bed.  We want them each to have their own bed too!
