Need 26.57 – Suicide Intervention

We alert you today to a man we ministered to this week who was in a suicidal crisis when we connected with him. He is a 58-year-old single man and reached out to us through one of our church partners. He suffers from Bipolar 1 and attempted to take his life one year ago, almost to the week. Thankfully, his sister found him in his apartment, and doctors were able to save him. He was seeking inpatient treatment but was concerned about his monthly bills. We convinced him to enter treatment and told him we would try to help him with his monthly bills during his treatment period. He is now safe and under psychiatric care. We are working with his sister to try to keep his monthly bills current. She does not have the financial means to cover the bills. Sadly, she is his only support, as his older brother took his life three years ago. We want to support this man and his sister by providing him with $3,200 to cover his monthly bills. We are also asking each of you to stop and pray for this man and his family. Pray that God will intervene in this dark place, extend his compassionate grace, and redeem this man.
