Man in Need Of Work in Metro Atlanta – Need 14.9

This morning we alert you of a man’s need for work.  But to give you the full story we must stop there and back up a few weeks.

A few weeks ago a young man attended church on a normal Sunday morning.  At the end of the service the pastor asked “Is there a man here that would like to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior?” This man, the one in need of work, stood up, raised his hand, and shouted ” I am that man!”

You see a friend had invited him to church that Sunday and had been praying for him for many months prior.  You can imagine how excited the friend and pastor were.

As you all we are sure can understand, when he was saved all his worldly problems did not just vanish.  We all know that is not how it works.  We know that recognition of sin, repentance and walking with God does not always = prosperity in a worldly terms.

So…back to present day.  The pastor and friend are working with the man and the man has shared financial problems that he has with them. You see 2 years ago his house burned to the ground with his only daily companion in it, his dog.  Through prayer the men have come to us to ask for help getting this man on his feet.

He is  general carpenter in need of work.  He feels like most of his financial issues will be solved, in time, if he can just find more work.  We agree with him.

So, here is the need:

1.) Prayer for this new believer.
2.) Work in general carpentry or any other opportunity you may be able to provide.

Result:  The man has 4 new jobs. And is headed in a positive direction.
