We are working today to help a hard-working 59-year-old single woman who unexpectedly lost her job last month. She is alone with no family support and is diligently working to secure new employment. She has also completed the process and been approved for unemployment benefits, but they will not begin for 4-6 weeks (if she does not find new employment sooner). She has a strong work history and is now in danger of losing her housing and facing homelessness. We want to support her during this trying time and help her pay her $1,550 rent.
